The final preparations for the ILA 2010 are in full swing. An exceptional air show and trade fair awaits aviation enthusiasts from all over the world, as well as technically minded visitors, and the entire family, young and old alike: With fascinating exhibition areas and spectacular aerial displays, from 8 to 13 June the International Aerospace Exhibition will present some unexpected insights into an industry which is one of the key technologies of the 21st century. Based on the applications received so far it will feature some 1,150 exhibitors from 40 countries (2008: 1,127/37) presenting hi-tech products from every sector of the aerospace industry.

Planning work for Automechanika 2010, which will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 14 to 19 September, has entered the crucial phase and Messe Frankfurt is delighted with the amount of exhibition space sold. To date, 90 percent of the space has been taken compared with the last event. At the record Automechanika in 2008, 4,471 exhibitors presented their products and services on over 305,000 square metres of exhibition space. Over 161,000 visitors, around 50 percent of them from outside Germany, attended the leading international trade fair for the automotive industry.

BIOTECHNICA 2010 is open for business in Hannover from 5 to 7 October, with new focus topics and more wide-ranging coverage. “Those in search of current trends, new ideas and inspiration need look no further than BIOTECHNICA”, says Stephan Ph. Kühne, who sits on the Board of Management at Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover. “Here businesses meet new customers and commercial partners for their products and solutions, ideas find investors and the latest scientific findings reach a broad professional audience”.

Mit dem Schwerpunktthema Energieeffizienz in industriellen Prozessen und dem Partnerland Korea startet in drei Wochen die HANNOVER MESSE 2009. Vom 20. bis 24. April erwartet die Deutsche Messe Hannover 6 150 Aussteller aus insgesamt 61 Nationen. "Damit ha­ben wir selbst in schwierigen Zeiten das hohe Niveau der Veranstaltun­gen aus den Jahren 2007 und 2008 erreicht", sagte der Vorstandsvor­sitzende der Deutschen Messe AG, Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch.
